WHO ARE WE?
The Pilgrim Area Collaborative Parent-Staff Organization (Pilgrim PSO) is a vibrant group of parents and PAC staff representatives who are interested in making our students’ educational lives at PAC the fullest and most dynamic experience possible.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Family Activities: One of the most important roles of the PSO is to bring students, families, and staff together by organizing a variety of social activities and outings throughout the year. With over 100 students coming from 30 different towns these experiences are vital to the culture of our school community. Popular events over the years include Family Pizza/Movie Night, Student/Staff Basketball Game, Middle School Dance, Papa Gino’s night, Drums Alive© Family Night, PAC’s Got Talent, and family outings to the Providence Bruins and Roger Williams Zoo.
Recognize PAC Staff: In addition, the PSO recognizes PAC staff annually by showing their appreciation during Education Appreciation Week in May and by providing an “End of the Year” staff luncheon.
Fundraising: During the school year, the Pilgrim PSO works on fundraising to purchase materials, equipment and to support community experiences that help enhance Collaborative programs. Last fall, the PSO granted over $3,000 to fund numerous staff/classroom grant requests.
Our fundraising efforts include our very popular gift basket raffles at family nights and participation in the following programs:
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
