A Parent –Staff Organization of the Pilgrim Area Collaborative
The Pilgrim PSO is a small but vibrant group of parents and staff representatives who are interested in making students educational lives at PAC the fullest and most
dynamic experience possible.
The Pilgrim PSO works on fundraising for materials, equipment and community outings to help enhance curriculum in the PAC classrooms. The PSO recognize PAC staff by showing their appreciation during Educator Appreciation Week every May.
The PSO also organizes various social outings/activities for PAC families & staff. These are an important part of PAC because our students are spread out over 8 schools in 6 area towns.
Popular events hosted by the PSO have included:
• Family Movie Nights (a fun, inexpensive outing for the entire family)
• Middle School Dance for students, siblings and parents
• Relaxed social outings at local restaurants (McDonalds, Ninety-Nine & Papa Gino’s)
The next Fundraiser/Social outing will take place on April 3, 2013 at Papa Gino’s in Kingsbury Plaza. Everyone who purchases a meal (eat-in or take-out) with the attached flyer, PAC will receive 20% of the proceeds. Plan to stop by to eat in or take out from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. In addition, a giant gift basket raffle is taking place on site and the prizes will be awarded at 7:00 p.m. at Papa Gino’s.
