In District Educational & Behavioral Consultation
In order to serve as many students as possible in the least restrictive settings, the PACES program provides educational, behavioral and social learning consultative services to educational and support staff members who are teaching children with ASD or similar learning/behavioral challenges in regular and special education classrooms. PACES Consultants may provide support to district staff in a variety of ways depending on the need. This support may include staff training, direct observation, assessment, and/or consultation in the following areas: applied behavioral analysis, inclusion, social skills instruction, behavior management, curriculum modification, program design and differentiated instruction. Districts can contract with PACES for ongoing weekly or monthly consultation or on an as needed basis throughout the school year. All PACES consultants hold at least a Master’s Degree in their field, are licensed and/or certified (DESE, BCBA, LABA) and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
