The Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) announced that due to the risk of EEEv in Plymouth and Bristol county, an aerial pesticide application will be taking place. This aimed at reducing mosquito populations to limit the incidence and spread of EEE infection.
This application is scheduled to begin on the evening of Monday, August 9th (weather depending). Please note that not all towns within Plymouth and Bristol county are in the spray area, and if a town is part of the spray area, the whole town may only partially in the spray area.
