Joanna Silverman, M.Ed., CHHC PACES Coordinator

Joanna is the Social Emotional and Therapeutic Coordinator for PACES, where she partners with educators, families, and school districts to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral success through the lens of the Applied Educational Neuroscience (AEN) model. She is currently completing her certification in Applied Educational Neuroscience and specializes in helping adults and students understand how the nervous system influences learning, behavior, relationships, and well-being.
With more than 25 years of experience working with children and young adults from infancy through age 22, Joanna provides professional development, consultation, caregiver coaching, and direct student support. She has completed advanced training in Social Thinking® (Michelle Garcia Winner), Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (Dr. Ross Greene), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (Dr. Russ Harris). In addition to her teaching certification, Joanna is a Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor, and Certified PEERS® Instructor for school-aged children.
