Maxanne Wordell, MSW PACES Licensed School Social Worker

Maxanne is an experienced social worker with over two decades of experience working with children and families, both domestically in Massachusetts and internationally in the United Kingdom. In addition to her MSW from Boston University, Maxanne is a post masters level trained trauma informed educator from Lesley University and a licensed school social worker. Her experience working in schools has provided her with a unique perspective on the challenges faced by children and adolescents, and has allowed her to develop effective strategies for supporting their social and emotional well-being. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Maxanne’s personal journey has profoundly shaped her approach to her work. As a mother, foster parent, adoptive parent, and birth parent, she understands firsthand the complexities and challenges faced by children and families in need. Her own experiences with her two children, who were born substance dependent, have fueled her passion for advocating for and supporting children who have experienced trauma. Her dedication to her work is complemented by a love of travel and adventure, which she enjoys sharing with her family, especially when it involves exploring coastal destinations.
