Lauren has over ten years of experience working with individuals with special needs and behavioral challenges across school, home, and community settings. She began her career as a paraprofessional while attending Bridgewater State University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Severe Special Education and Psychology in 2021. Lauren went on to teach at a day school serving students with significant social, emotional, and behavioral disorders, gaining extensive experience supporting complex learning and regulation needs.

Lauren has been working with PACES since 2019, initially in a part-time role providing direct services, supervising cases, and completing home assessments with diverse populations. She earned her Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis with a concentration in Childhood Clinical Disorders in 2024 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in February 2025. Following her certification, Lauren worked at a Collaborative supporting children with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and social-emotional behavioral disorders.

In August 2025, Lauren joined PACES full time as a BCBA consultant. In this role, she oversees home-based services, conducts home assessments, Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), and educational assessments, consults with schools, develops individualized behavior intervention plans, and implements data collection systems to address interfering behaviors in both home and school environments. Lauren takes a trauma-informed approach to her work, focusing on the bigger picture of each student’s experiences and prioritizing what helps them feel safe, supported, and happy rather than responding solely to behaviors. Her favorite part of her work is collaborating with students and their families and witnessing the meaningful growth they achieve, along with the positive impact this progress has on their lives and the broader community.
