Parenting Through Connection

Did you know that the emotional connection between a parent and child plays a critical role in regulating emotions, learning, and behavior? In this workshop, participants will explore practical tools grounded in Neuroscience to better understand how the nervous system shapes connection, regulation, and emotional well-being. Through this lens, families will learn simple, neuroscience-informed strategies they can begin using immediately to strengthen relationships, support regulation, and promote the emotional wellness of the entire family. Children who are parented through connection are more likely to develop emotional intelligence, resilience, social competence, physical well-being, and academic success.
This workshop can also be presented in a four part series. Real lasting change happens through a series of learning experiences that allow participants to build knowledge, practice new skills, reflect on their progress, and apply strategies over time.
